Akkodis is seeking a Network Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX(Remote). Candidates must have strong expertise in building CI/CD-integrated automation frameworks and implementing telemetry, monitoring, and security controls across the SDLC.
Rate Range: $36/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Design and implement automation frameworks using Ansible and Python to provision, monitor, and validate large-scale Arista EOS network topologies. Develop and integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) to ensure continuous validation and deployment. Build and maintain telemetry, logging, and monitoring dashboards using tools like Grafana, Splunk, and cloud monitoring platforms. Automate network provisioning and validation using REST APIs, OpenConfig, gNMI, and other modern protocols. Collaborate across DevOps, development, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and self-service network automation solutions. Support code/data deployments, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to documentation and best practices for automation and infrastructure reliability.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum of 5 years in network automation, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles. Proven experience with Arista EOS automation using Ansible or Python, including building reusable frameworks and modules. Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
