Akkodis is seeking a Network Automation Engineer for a contract with a client in Plano, TX(Remote). This role requires hands-on experience in automating large-scale network environments using Python, Ansible, and Arista EOS.
Rate Range: $35/hour to 37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Design and implement automation frameworks and playbooks using Python, Ansible, and Arista EOS to provision and monitor large-scale network topologies. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and ensure high-quality deployments. Develop reusable modules and device classes for scalable network configuration and validation. Build monitoring dashboards and telemetry systems using tools like Grafana, Splunk, and cloud-native solutions. Troubleshoot automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and publish actionable bug reports. Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, self-service automation platforms and maintain performance, availability, and scalability.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in network automation, DevOps, or software engineering roles. Strong hands-on experience with Python, Ansible, and Arista EOS for building scalable automation frameworks. Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), cloud services (AWS), and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
