**Role & seniority: ** QA Engineer / Software QA (Senior); 5+ years hands-on QA (manual + automation)

  • Top 3 responsibilities:

    1. Design/execute test plans & regression suites for web and mobile apps across multiple projects

    2. Perform functional + usability + localization + RTL testing for Arabic interfaces, including QA of Arabic UI text rendering and diacritics/dialect variation

    3. Validate Arabic content quality in AI outputs (ASR transcriptions, classification, summaries) and log/verify defects to resolution in an agile workflow

  • Must-have skills:

    • Web + mobile testing (iOS/Android)

    • Automation framework experience (UI automation + maintaining automated test suites)

    • REST API/backend testing proficiency

    • Strong Arabic (reading/writing/listening) and professional English

    • Bug tracking/test management familiarity (Jira/TestRail)

    • Agile/Scrum understanding; strong analytical attention to detail for Arabic text

  • Nice-to-haves:

    • Experience testing LLM/GenAI apps: prompt regression, non-deterministic output evaluation, hallucination detection, response scoring, guardrails

Full Description

Key Responsibilities Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites for web and mobile applications across multiple projects Perform functional, usability, localization, and RTL (right-to-left) layout testing for Arabic-language interfaces Validate Arabic content quality in AI outputs, including ASR transcriptions, classifications, and summaries โ€” covering MSA, Gulf dialects, and Arabic-English code-switching scenarios Test REST APIs and backend services (e.g., using Postman or similar tools) Build and maintain automated test suites for UI and API layers Log, track, and verify defects through to resolution; work closely with developers and product owners in an agile environment Participate in UAT cycles with clients and support release readiness sign-off Test data pipelines and platform workflows end-to-end, including user onboarding, task submission, and data validation flows Contribute to QA process improvement, test documentation standards, and quality metrics reporting.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in software QA (manual and automation) Native or fluent Arabic (reading, writing, listening) and professional working proficiency in English Strong experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS/Android) Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium Solid API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent) Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, orsimilar) Understanding of agile/Scrum development processes Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, particularly in evaluating Arabic text rendering, diacritics, and dialectal variation

Preferred / Nice to Have
