Job Description
The Tire Test Machine Maintenance Lead is responsible for the maintenance of test equipment, support equipment, facilities, and grounds. Work is performed throughout a heavy industrial test facility. Potential hazards include high heat application, proximity of moving machinery, noise, heavy lifting, working at heights, in pits and in confined spaces. Providing leadership and guidance in areas such as plumbing, electrical and mechanical maintenance
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in maintenance or facility management
Problem solving related to mechanical and controls systems
Proficient at using hand tools, portable electric tools, and typical shop stationary equipment
Experience in industrial or heavy equipment environments
Strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills
Capable of learning to operate test equipment
Full time on-site attendance
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or higher
Strong engineering integration skills
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles and fabrication techniques
