Role & seniority: Engineering Intern / Co-op (Summer 2026), reporting to Manager, Engineering in Commercial & Industrial Engineering; onsite.
Stack/tools: SolidWorks (basic CAD), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); basic hand tools; ability to assemble electrical and mechanical items; data collection and report writing; basic test equipment design/maintenance; SDS program maintenance.
Assist in testing and engineering evaluation related to R&D of Leviton products.
Research, design and build test equipment; maintenance/inspection of engineering equipment.
Data collection and report writing; SDS program maintenance.
Good hands-on skills; knowledge of basic hand tools.
Ability to assemble electrical and mechanical items.
Theoretical and practical engineering skills.
Basic CAD skills (preferably SolidWorks).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Prior internship or project experience in test equipment design or engineering labs.
Familiarity with SDS programs and equipment maintenance workflows.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Location & work type: Onsite; paid internship, Summer 2026 start.
