Role: Test Lead

Location: Dallas, TX / San Diego, CA - On Site

Tools

  • Java, TestNG, Maven, Ant, Spring Core, Allure reports, Jenkins, report portal, minio, some open source java libraries,

  • Node, Protractor, Playwright

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API and UI testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test scenarios, create test plans, and execute test cases.

  • Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing and deployment processes.

  • Analyze test results and work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in automation testing, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.

  • Contribute to the overall improvement of software quality by providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of at least (5-7 years) in automation testing, with a focus on API and UI testing.

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

  • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, or similar.

  • Proficiency in RESTful API testing and understanding of API technologies (e.g., JSON, XML, HTTP).

  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
