About The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our team on a contract basis for a duration of 12 months. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and the Capital Markets domain. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the integrity, performance, and reliability of our financial applications and platforms. The Senior Consultant will play a pivotal role in validating market data, benchmark calculations, and financial indices, utilizing advanced testing tools and AI-powered solutions to streamline processes and enhance testing efficiency. The candidate should have a strong background in Selenium, Java or Python, SQL, and AI-driven testing methodologies, with a proven track record in testing high-volume, low-latency financial systems.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or QA Automation within the financial services industry. They should demonstrate strong expertise in Selenium automation frameworks using Java or Python, along with a solid understanding of Capital Markets, market data validation, and financial applications. Proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques is essential, especially in testing real-time, high-volume financial data platforms. Candidates should possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and adapt to evolving project requirements. Prior experience with AI tools, such as GenAI or Agentic AI, is highly desirable to enhance automation and defect analysis processes.

Responsibilities

Perform functional, automation, API, regression, and end-to-end testing for Capital Markets applications to ensure high-quality deliverables. Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java or Python, aligning with best practices and project requirements. Validate market data, reference data, index calculations, and benchmark-related applications to ensure accuracy and compliance. Execute data validation tasks using SQL, databases, ETL pipelines, and Data Services to verify data integrity and consistency across systems. Leverage GenAI and Agentic AI tools to optimize test automation, facilitate defect analysis, and increase overall QE productivity. Test high-volume, low-latency, real-time financial data platforms, ensuring system stability and performance under load. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance standards are met. Identify, document, and track defects, providing clear communication and working with teams to resolve issues promptly. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, testing tools, and best practices to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
