As a System Tester, you will play a key role in validating and verifying the functionality of our next-generation safety PLCs and related components such as safety I/Os, servo drives, and motion control systems. Working in an international environment, you will collaborate closely with software developers to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
Designing and executing manual and automated system tests for safety PLCs.
Creating and maintaining test documentation and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Organizing and tracking test activities, supporting defect management and issue analysis. Setting up and maintaining test environments, resolving technical issues independently.
Conducting performance testing, analyzing results, and presenting findings to project teams.
Providing 3rd-level support for colleagues and customers.
Assisting and mentoring engineers and interns in using automated test solutions.
Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in quality assurance and system testing.
Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., EN 61508, EN 13849, EN 62061) is a plus.
Knowledge of industrial automation technology, especially programmable safety controls and safety field buses (e.g., FSoE, PROFIsafe).
Basic understanding of motion control applications and servo drives.
Experience with test automation, scripting, and manual testing.
Application knowledge of drive-based safety functions is desirable.
Familiarity with agile methodologies.
Languages: Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Working Style and Methods: Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
Personality: Team player with strong communication skills and a passion for innovation.
