About The Role
The QA Tester at Neumo will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing and documentation. The individual will be responsible for generating detailed test documentation, performing end-to-end testing, and building automated test cases to streamline testing processes. This role requires a proactive approach to translating business requirements into technical specifications, identifying potential risks, and collaborating with engineering teams to develop effective testing strategies. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in a QA function, with a proven track record of executing testing scenarios, analyzing results, and managing defect resolution. The role demands strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. The QA Tester will also support product training, troubleshooting, and technical escalations, contributing to the overall quality assurance lifecycle and ensuring solutions meet high standards of functionality, performance, and security.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field 2-5 years of experience in a QA role, including system, integration, and user acceptance testing Experience with testing plans, documentation, and execution across multiple development cycles At least 2 years of SQL or relevant database experience Proficiency with testing methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall Experience with test automation tools, particularly Selenium Programming knowledge in C#, Java, or Python Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and technical aspects of Business Systems and Infrastructure Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
Translate business requirements and processes into detailed technical requirements and configuration settings for software solutions Identify and assess risks to projects, recommend mitigation strategies, and implement risk reduction plans Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies ensuring solutions meet standards for functionality, performance, and reliability Collaborate with team leads and engineering resources to design effective testing approaches Perform end-to-end testing efficiently, adhering to project deadlines Build and maintain automated test cases to improve testing efficiency and coverage Record, log, and track defects, coordinating with development teams to facilitate timely resolution Analyze test results to identify defects or undesirable outcomes and document findings Own and manage workstreams or product lines throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring quality standards are maintained Participate in daily engineering meetings to update team members and management on testing progress and issues Assist support teams with product defect investigations, technical troubleshooting, and escalations Provide technical assistance and training in product implementation and support environments Support other duties related to quality assurance and testing as assigned
