**Role & seniority: ** Environmental Qualification & Compliance Engineer (mid-to-senior; 5+ years experience) for airborne systems/components.

**Stack/tools: ** RTCA DO-160; DOORS (requirements traceability); Microsoft Office; certification documentation (EASA/FAA/military evidence).

**Top 3 responsibilities: **

  • Define/review DO-160 compliant environmental test procedures (parameters, acceptance criteria, expected results).

  • Develop environmental qualification test plans (temperature, altitude, vibration, shock, EMI/EMC, lightning, HIRF).

  • Produce test reports/compliance matrices and ensure traceability of requirements, results, and deviations for certification (EASA/FAA/military) with stakeholder coordination.

  • Must-have skills:

    • Strong DO-160 knowledge + experience in environmental qualification testing.

    • Experience creating test plans/procedures and documenting compliance for airborne systems.

define and review DO-160 compliant environmental test procedures for airborne systems and components, including test parameters, acceptance criteria, and expected results develop comprehensive environmental qualification test plans covering temperature, altitude, vibration, shock, EMI/EMC, lightning, and HIRF testing plan, coordinate, and support qualification and compliance testing activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders prepare test reports, compliance matrices, and certification evidence for EASA, FAA, and military certification programs ensure full traceability of requirements, test results, and deviations within DOORS, maintaining audit readiness throughout the certification lifecycle coordinate suppliers, test laboratories, and certification teams to successfully execute qualification and compliance activities support internal and external audits and contribute to demonstrating compliance to customers and regulatory authorities

hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline have at least five years of professional experience within the aerospace or defence industry possess strong knowledge of RTCA DO-160 and hands-on experience in environmental qualification testing have experience developing test plans, defining test procedures, and documenting compliance for airborne systems are familiar with certification and regulatory processes within EASA, FAA, or military aerospace environments have practical experience working with DOORS and the Microsoft Office suite work independently, in a structured manner, and take ownership in a challenging project environment communicate fluently in English (minimum C1 level) are willing to meet project-specific security and confidentiality requirements and to undergo the corresponding security clearance process We value diversity and therefore welcome all applications – regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion/belief, disability, age and sexual orientation and identity.
