Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tester proficient in both manual and automated testing methodologies. As a Tester in our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems through rigorous testing procedures. You will collaborate closely with development and PMO teams to identify defects, verify fixes, and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of testing principles, techniques, and tools, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality solutions to our customers. Must have Load testing experience and regression testing experience.
Ability to review user stories and have an understanding of functional requirements.
Identify test scenarios and create test cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements.
Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test scripts, test matrices, and test reports.
Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects and edge cases not covered by scripted tests.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not introduce unintended side effects.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
Implement and maintain automated test suites to increase test coverage and accelerate the testing process.
Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration pipeline to enable early detection of defects and ensure software stability.
Identify and report software defects using issue tracking systems (Azure DevOps), providing clear and detailed descriptions of observed issues.
Work closely with development teams to reproduce and troubleshoot reported defects, facilitating their resolution in a timely manner.
Verify defect fixes and regression test affected areas to ensure the stability and integrity of the software.
Proven experience in software testing (5 years), with a focus on both manual and automated testing methodologies.
Strong understanding of testing principles, techniques, and best practices.
Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Experience with Agile methodologies and sprint planning for testing phase
Accessibility testing a plus. Non functional testing experience also a plus.
SQL server experience a plus

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
