You Are
UST is searching for a Test Architect who will define the enterprise test automation architecture, strategy, and roadmap across programs and lines of business.
The Opportunity
Establish the QE strategy end to end — shift-left, in-sprint automation, test-data management, centralized reporting, and environment/CI-CD strategy Evaluate, pilot, and adopt emerging tools and AI/ML-driven testing solutions; own build-vs-buy and tooling decisions Define quality KPIs, coverage and release-readiness metrics; drive continuous improvement and governance across teams Architect the test execution ecosystem across cloud platforms, containers, and parallel/distributed execution Partner with Architecture, DevOps, Product, and Delivery leadership to embed quality into design and CI/CD pipelines Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QE leads and engineers; conduct design, code, and architecture reviews and uphold QE governance Lead root-cause analysis, risk assessment, and resolution for high-impact, Telecom-critical systems Drive Telecom domain solutioning across modules Test Automation Architecture & Framework

What You Need
Architecture & Framework Design Expert: 8+ years Strong Telecom domain knowledge
Automation: Selenium / Playwright, REST / APIExpert
Hands-on: 8+ years Test Architect responsible for defining and enhancing enterprise automation frameworks with Test Grid(future preferred tool) and Tosca (existing), along with Selenium/Java where needed
Programming Language: Java / C# / TypeScript
Expert Hands-on: 7+ years Design E2E automation across digital channels (Mobile, Web, API,bots) and middleware layers (Commerce, DAS Auth, DPS, Offers, Operations)SQL knowledge
Strong: 5+ years Able to architect scalable automation for high-volume digital workflows and multi-system orchestration. CI/CD & DevOps (Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, JIRA, qTest)
Strong: 5+ years Accessibility TestingAI/ML-based testing tools & GenAI for QE2-4 years QE strategy, governance, KPIs & test-data management Expert Performance & non-functional testing strategy

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Compensation Range: $90,000-$135,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
