Job Description

The QA Automation Lead will be responsible for leading both manual and automation testing efforts across POS systems, payment gateways, and related services. This role requires strong technical expertise in automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD integration, as well as leadership skills to guide and mentor the testing team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee manual and automation testing efforts within the project team. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases. Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure application quality. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior QA team members. Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues in application functionality. Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing regular testing updates and insights. Coordinate testing activities with offshore teams on a daily basis. Perform root cause analysis and contribute to process improvements.

Skill Requirements

Strong experience in testing POS systems. Proven experience in testing payment gateways and services with multiple payment methods. Expertise in API/Web Services testing methodologies and tools. Proficiency in automation testing using Selenium, Java, and related tools. Strong API manual and automation testing experience using tools such as ReadyAPI, Loadmill, Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter. In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing processes. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Jenkins and Harness preferred). Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
