    • Ability to identify product weaknesses and recommend improvements

Lenovo Data Center Group is currently seeking a Lead Test Engineer.

Position Requirements

Project Stakeholder Management

Communicate information effectively between project teams, validation teams, and customers. Lead regular meetings with customers and internal team to align on project status, address technical requirements, validation scope and provide professional consultation on project progress. Proactively conduct risk assessments, identify potential bottlenecks, and develop mitigation plans to ensure project delivery.

Test Resource Execution

Test resource (Human/Equipment) management. Test schedule/Status/Issue management. Test Readiness Review.

Leadership Collaboration

Lead Functional TEs to create and manage validation plans and test reports. Work with peer LTEs on project guidance and cross-functional alignment. ODM/Supplier test communication and management.

Continuous Improvement

Defect management (Defect/Limitation Review). Lessons Learned Management and optimization of server test processes.

Background:

7 years+ Server development and test experience. Minimum 3 years of project management experience is required. Identify potential product weakness and be able to recommendations for improvements to subsequent redesigns. Knowledge of most system function and compatibility test areas. BIOS/BMC, OS, CPU, MEM, Storage, network, APPs, etc… Detail-oriented with attention to product quality. Ability to drive cross-functional development efforts for both internal and external. Ability to work under date-driven schedules. Negotiation and persuasion skills. Excellent team leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Server project test management experience is a plus. Project management (PMP) is a plus.
