Project Role: Quality Engineering Lead

Project Role Description: Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and implementing key performance metrics to monitor testing activities, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality standards of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. Lead the development and implementation of testing strategies that align with project goals and quality standards. Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities. Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment and timely resolution of quality-related issues.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner. Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts and methodologies. Experience in designing and executing load and stress tests to evaluate system behavior under various conditions. Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve application performance. Familiarity with scripting and automation within performance testing tools. Capability to collaborate effectively with development and operations teams to integrate testing processes.

Additional Information

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner. This position is based at our Hyderabad office. A 15 years full time education is required.
