Responsibilities

Job Description

– Create test plans, write test scenarios, and perform testing

– Analyze workflows, report test results, and propose quality improvements

– Work with the development team to fix bugs, diagnose, and improve product configurations for current or future modules

Qualifications

Educational Background

– Bachelor’s degree in: Information Security; Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics…

– English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 650 or higher

Requirements/Competencies

– At least 3 years of software testing experience, with mobile testing experience

– Ability to independently create test documentation based on the application of software testing techniques

– Ability to analyze and provide critical feedback on software requirements specifications

– Ability to estimate testing effort and identify risks for assigned tasks

– Ability to guide and review test designs and test scenarios for junior or peer-level colleagues

– Ability to build and execute basic queries with the product’s database to create, modify, delete, or query data in single tables

– Ability to use available testing tools/frameworks (such as API testing, web performance testing, web/mobile/API automation testing)

Professional Knowledge

– IT Knowledge

– Proficient in software development processes, especially Agile and Scrum

– Advanced knowledge of SQL or the databases used by the product

– Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols

– Software Testing Knowledge

– Proficient in the software testing process issued by the company

– Understanding of testing levels (Component Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Acceptance Testing)

– Understanding of non-functional testing types, exploratory testing, and error guessing

– Proficient understanding and application of black-box testing and experience-based testing techniques

– Thorough understanding of the product’s system for testing
