Full Description

Role Summary We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Software Engineer in Test to act as a technical anchor for our SDK quality organization. With at least 6+ years of experience, you will take the QA initiatives by defining strategies, developing and maintaining automation frameworks, and driving technical excellence across product workstreams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, thrives on solving complex technical challenges, mentors junior engineers, and leverages cutting-edge AI-assisted tools to accelerate the testing lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

Strategic: Design and execute end-to-end QA plans for large-scale initiatives, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and strong architectural soundness.

Automation Excellence: Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks primarily using Playwright and TypeScript.

API Mastery: Design and execute comprehensive API testing strategies, ensuring seamless integration and data integrity across RESTful microservices.

AI Integration: Champion the use of GitHub Copilot and other AI-driven tools to optimize script generation, code reviews, and test data management.

Advanced Debugging: Act as the final escalation point for complex technical defects, utilizing exceptional analytical skills to perform root cause analysis (RCA) in distributed systems.

Performance Oversight: Integrate performance benchmarks into the SDLC to ensure system reliability under load.

Mentorship: Conduct rigorous automation code reviews, establish quality gates, and mentor SDETs and junior engineers on modern automation patterns.

CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly bake automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.) to enable true Shift-Left testing.

Global Collaboration: Partner with international product managers and architects to align quality initiatives with global business goals. Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 6+ years in Software Quality Engineering with a proven track record as a senior SDET

Automation Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript. Deep understanding of asynchronous programming and modern testing design patterns (Page Object Model, App Actions, etc.).

API Testing: Extensive experience in API automation and contract testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Playwright’s native API testing capabilities.

AI Tools: Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and improve code quality.

Analytical Rigor: Exceptional debugging skills and the ability to navigate complex logs, network traces, and backend databases.

Agile: Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum, with the ability to influence sprint planning and architectural discussions.
