The Quality Assurance Coordinator assists with the compliance of company policies, procedures and contractual standards through the facility accreditation, audit and inspection processes. Coordinates the preparation and maintenance of ACA files in accordance with accreditation standards and assists the department to ensure the facility is audit ready at all times.
Assists with audits and routine inspections. Accurately prepares, completes and maintains required forms, records, and accreditation files. Complies with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards, and/or contract. Using appropriate grammar and spelling, routinely composes and creates documents, to include letters, memoranda, reports, correspondence, forms and statistical data. Inputs text accurately and produces finished documents efficiently using word processing and spreadsheet programs. Copies, compiles and distributes finished documents as necessary. Communicates effectively with internal staff and external contacts. Professionally responds to verbal/written inquiries and requests or refers to appropriate staff member. Reads and comprehends correspondence, policies, regulations, procedures, reports, directions for form completion and other moderately complex documents. Assists the facility's Quality Assurance Manager with other audit, inspection, accreditation and compliance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required. One year of experience in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Quality Assurance, Accreditation or a related field is required. Additional qualifying education in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Quality Assurance or a related field may be substituted for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis. Good written communication skills and analytical ability required. Experience in Microsoft Office applications or other similar software applications is required. A valid driver's license is required.
