Role & seniority: Senior/Lead Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for Precision Fires, providing technical leadership in test hardware/software and support.

Collaborate with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support cross-functional testing activities (ESS, functional testing).
BS in Electrical, Computer, or Computer Engineering (or related) with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Experience supporting Electronics Test Equipment, ITAs, UUT cabling, and ATE software.
Proficiency with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand; strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; effective written/verbal communication.
Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
Willingness to travel up to ~10% (to Camden, AR and Lufkin, TX).
Experience with verification/validation of DoD test equipment.

Job Description
You will be the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer Sr for the Precision Fires Line-of-Business, supporting Production Test Equipment and Test Software activities. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of production test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.
What You Will Be Doing
As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand , LabVIEW , and CVI , to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing.
Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Upgrading and Supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems Troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and at least 3 years of professional experience, or equivalent related professional experience
Experience Supporting Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters (ITA's) and Unit Under Test (UUT) Cabling
Experience Supporting Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE)

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
