About Position
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Point of Sale (POS) testing, automation framework development, and test execution. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, Cucumber/Gherkin, and GK POS, with a proven track record of building scalable automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for POS applications using Playwright and TypeScript. Create and execute Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin. Develop scalable and maintainable automation solutions using Page Object Model (POM) and reusable component libraries. Design and manage test data strategies, including datasets for items, pricing, promotions, tenders, and transaction testing. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure regular execution of smoke, regression, and release validation tests. Analyze test results, prepare execution reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Log, track, and manage defects through defect management tools, coordinating with development teams for timely resolution. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, estimation, and quality assurance activities throughout the SDLC.
Expertise You'll Bring
Strong experience with Playwright as the core UI automation framework for browser-based POS systems. Hands-on experience testing applications using GK POS. Strong programming skills in TypeScript. Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin (BDD) for writing business-readable test specifications. Expertise in Page Object Model (POM) and reusable automation framework design. Experience in Test Data Management, including controlled datasets for pricing, promotions, tenders, and retail transactions.
