Job location: Gothenburg , Sweden
Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks driven by infrastructure and testing requirements. Design and implement automated test scripts using Python, Vtest Studio, and CAPL (Vector toolchain). Translate test specifications from testing teams into robust automated test cases. Collaborate with infrastructure teams on framework refactoring and scalability improvements. Manage code using GIT and Gerrit, ensuring version control and traceability. Integrate and execute test automation within CI pipelines (Zuul, Cynosure). Handle ambiguous requirements through proactive communication and cross-team alignment. Contribute to continuous improvements in automation quality, performance, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills Strong programming skills in Python. Experience with CAPL, Vtest Studio / Vector tools (e.g., CANoe). Hands-on experience in test automation and framework development. Experience with version control systems (GIT, Gerrit). Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Zuul, Cynosure or similar).
Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Proactive and adaptable mindset for dynamic environments. Focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in automotive or embedded systems domain. Familiarity with software integration and verification workflows.
