Must-have skills

Your Central Role
Review the reconciliation of local financial statements to IFRS and Solvency II for compliance with Group manuals, reconciliation and documentation of results, and ensure integration of findings into ongoing work Support for national and international subsidiaries on content and process issues related to the reporting package Methodological competence for IFRS and Solvency II, quality assurance of reporting data at Group level and responsible contact for the Group auditors Lead and participate in accounting projects and contribute to cross-functional/cross-divisional pro-jects - particularly IFRS 17 standard, as the standard has been implemented group-wide for 3 years. For this, it is necessary to maintain very close contact with our subsidiaries. This also requires regular workshops and on-site visits Collaborate in mergers & acquisitions and post-merger integration projects
Your Profile
Successfully completed university degree in economics and/or (business) mathematics, preferably with an international focus and emphasis on external (group) accounting, auditing, insurance, and several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable field Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards (preferably IFRS 17 for insurance) and Solvency II report-ing requirements. Specialized knowledge in areas such as actuarial science, taxes, pension obligations, or capital investments is advantageous Excellent SAP knowledge - especially SEM-BCS - and confident with standard Office software Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse and present complex accounting issues in a clear verbal and graphical manner High level of commitment and strong communication skills combined with a high degree of independence and responsibility Ability to travel to the international entities or due diligence projects (shorts visits for several days but and longer visits e.g 1-2 weeks)
