About the job

• The Quality Engineering Excellence Specialist supports the definition, governance, adoption, and continuous improvement of Quality Engineering practices across the organization.
• The role is responsible for reviewing quality-related deliverables, supporting standardization of test methodologies, monitoring adoption of QE frameworks, and providing visibility into quality practices across projects. Working closely with the QE Excellence Manager, the role helps ensure consistent and scalable quality engineering approaches across all delivery teams.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Quality Engineering Governance & Standards

• Support the definition, maintenance, and continuous improvement of QE methodologies, templates, standards, and implementation guidelines.
• Maintain quality engineering knowledge assets and governance documentation.
• Support the rollout of Shift-Left, AI-assisted testing, and quality improvement initiatives.

2. Quality Deliverable Reviews

Review quality-related artifacts including

• Test Strategy Plans
• Test Plans
• Test Cases
• Quality Reports
• Traceability Matrices
• Assess compliance with established QE standards and methodologies.
• Provide quality feedback and improvement recommendations to project teams.
• Contribute to quality scoring and assessment activities.

3. Shift-Left & Quality Adoption

• Track adoption of Shift-Left practices and quality frameworks.
• Monitor implementation of quality gates and test readiness practices.
• Support mentoring and coaching activities related to QE methodologies.

4. AI-Assisted Testing & Automation

• Support adoption of AI-assisted testing and automation practices.
• Monitor implementation of approved AI testing use cases.
• Maintain and share AI testing best practices and lessons learned.

5. Compliance, Metrics & Reporting

• Track adoption of QE methodologies and standards.
• Analyze recurring quality issues and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare dashboards and reports related to quality maturity, automation adoption, and methodology compliance.

6. Capability Development Support

• Support QE onboarding and readiness programs.
• Contribute to Communities of Practice and learning initiatives.
• Assist in preparing training materials, examples, and implementation guides.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Engineering.
• Familiarity with test planning, test design, and quality assurance concepts.
• Exposure to Shift-Left, test automation, and quality engineering practices.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is preferred.
• Experience with Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Experience reviewing testing artifacts and quality deliverables.
• Strong interest in AI-assisted testing and automation technologies.
• Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech experience is a plus.
