Job Purpose
As an Associate Automation Engineer, you will be trained to design, develop, and implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business processes. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies while contributing to the development of cutting-edge technology solutions.
Key Result Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing automation scripts and solutions to streamline various business processes. Collaborate with senior engineers to design automated test scripts or processes that ensure efficiency and quality. Work on automating tasks and processes using tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible, or Python.. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing for automated processes. Assist in writing and executing test cases for automated solutions to ensure they meet the business requirements and quality standards.
Key Result Responsibilities-Continued
Identify defects or issues in the automated systems and assist in troubleshooting and resolving them. Work with business and technical teams to identify areas for automation and process improvements. Assist in analyzing existing processes to determine opportunities for automation to improve productivity and reduce errors. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation strategy by exploring new tools and technologies. Learn and assist in setting up and maintaining automation frameworks and environments.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Exposure to programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or related languages. Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible, or similar tools is desirable but not required Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes. Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) is an advantage. Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (SQL Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
