Project description Join our Market Connectivity team, focused on building and maintaining ultra-low latency trading systems and exchange connectivity solutions for global financial markets. As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of high-throughput applications operating in a high-performance computing environment, developing automated testing solutions that support critical trading and market data workflows.
Responsibilities Design test strategies and automation approaches for low-latency trading platforms and exchange connectivity solutions Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and test suites using Python Create automated API, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests for trading and market connectivity workflows Validate exchange connectivity, market data flows, and order processing across global trading venues Verify the functional correctness, reliability, and performance of trading gateways and market access components Analyze business requirements and latency-sensitive trading workflows to ensure effective test coverage Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to the quality, stability, and production readiness of trading systems
Must have Strong experience in software testing with a solid understanding of test automation principles and best practices Hands-on experience in Python development for test automation Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites Strong knowledge of API, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing Hands-on experience with PyTest, Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks Experience testing distributed, real-time, or high-performance systems Good understanding of market connectivity, market data flows, exchange integrations, or trading workflows Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern software delivery practices Good knowledge of SQL and database testing techniques Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills
