QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related engineering field.
8+ years of aerospace structures / Nacelle quality or manufacturing experience.
4+ dedicated Aerospace experience
Hands on experience on PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) preferably aerospace structures / Nacelles
Develop Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documents, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) deliverables
Works on Root Cause, Corrective Action with some guidance using established RCCA tools (PFMEA, DMAIC, Apollo, 5 WHYs, 8D, etc.).
Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control. Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel.
Create, review, and execute quality control plans, flow charts for incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and final products
Strong understanding of ISO9000 or AS9100, FAA Part 21 and structural conformity requirements.
Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia/3dx preferred)
Strong understanding of Aircraft structures / Nacelles, design guidelines, composite and metallic failure modes.

Preferred Skills

Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical views that translate raw data into clear operational insights and recommended actions.
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
