Overview

• We’re looking for a Junior Functional Tester to join our QA team for a 6-month contract with potential for hire. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience writing and executing test cases, with strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring software quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute functional test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.
• Participate in test planning, status meetings, and review sessions.
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities and results.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in functional or manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
• Experience writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
