Job Summary: IVI SDET Validation Automation Engineer specializing in auto verification and validation using vTestStudio and scripting in Python Bash and CAPL to design robust test frameworks for automotive systems. Contribute to high quality and safe mobility solutions through meticulous test design execution and analysis collaborating closely with cross functional teams in an office based day shift role with occasional travel.

Responsibilities: -Design comprehensive test strategies and detailed test cases using vTestStudio to validate automotive system functionalities and ensure reliable performance across diverse operating conditions. -Develop and refine automated test scripts in Python to execute complex verification scenarios that improve test coverage and reduce manual effort in regression cycles. -Create and maintain Bash scripts to orchestrate test environments manage test data and streamline build and execution flows for efficient day to day validation activities. -Author CAPL scripts for bus communication simulations that accurately emulate vehicle network behavior and support rigorous verification of embedded control units. -Build reusable test frameworks that integrate vTestStudio with Python Bash and CAPL components to deliver modular scalable and maintainable validation solutions for multiple projects. -Execute structured auto verification and validation cycles on automotive features capturing logs monitoring results and documenting findings to support transparent project quality metrics. -Analyze test outcomes and defect trends to identify root causes propose targeted corrective actions and contribute to continuous improvement in product reliability and safety. -Collaborate with developers system engineers and functional safety teams in the office environment to clarify requirements refine test approaches and align on acceptance criteria. -Prepare clear test reports traceability documentation and evidence packs that demonstrate compliance with automotive validation standards and support customer and regulatory audits. -Coordinate and perform on site or lab based test activities when travel is required ensuring consistent verification practices across locations and accurate feedback to centralized teams. -Support day shift project operations by proactively monitoring test execution queues resolving environment issues and maintaining stable tools and frameworks for uninterrupted validation. -Contribute domain expertise in auto verification and validation by mentoring peers on best practices sharing lessons learned and promoting standardized approaches across programs. -Drive alignment of test objectives with company goals of delivering safe efficient and sustainable automotive solutions that positively impact road users and broader society. -Qualifications -Possess professional experience of three to seven years as a test analyst or similar role with strong exposure to automotive verification and validation activities. -Demonstrate hands on proficiency in vTestStudio for authoring test specifications configuring test benches and managing result analysis in automotive system projects. -Show advanced scripting capability in Python to implement automation utilities complex test flows and reporting tools that optimize efficiency and accuracy. -Apply practical skills in Bash scripting to manage test execution on heterogeneous platforms automate routine tasks and support continuous integration pipelines. -Use CAPL scripting effectively to configure communication scenarios create bus simulations and validate message handling logic within vehicle networks. -Exhibit solid understanding of auto verification and validation processes including requirements analysis traceability coverage assessment and defect lifecycle management. -Work comfortably in a work from office model and day shift schedule while remaining flexible to undertake business travel for test campaigns or customer interactions.
