Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an FTI System Architect (m/f) to join our Flight Test Instrumentation Architecture department based in Toulouse, France, within the Flight Test Centre.

Your future challenges

Internalize the knowledge and skills required to manage the FTI measurement chains integrated into the programming of our Flight Test Installation. Be able to manage measurement chains for all programs to become the department's "Measurement chains" Functional Architect / Focal Point. Gather, understand, and challenge (if necessary) the requirements expressed by flight test engineers or pilots in order to translate them into appropriate technical solutions. Define the architectures to be implemented and share them with stakeholders to launch the electrical/mechanical design phases, as well as the development of specific instrumentation (hardware, software, equipment, etc.). Promptly report technical risks and request arbitration on proposed alternatives. Specify the development of missing or obsolete required equipment. Assist designers, if necessary, in creating the electrical diagrams and associated wire harnesses for these architectures. Provide support for integration activities.
