Project Description

Software system level testing is a very important step in the development process of our products and ensures that the system meets specifications.

The System Test Engineer is a key participant in the system level test process and provides important input to the product release decision making process.

Responsibilities

The Digital Platform system team consists of 9 people and follows an Agile/Kanban way of working.

You will do mostly manual testing, but automation will still be part of your activities.

Software baseline validation · Execute the basic regression test on the software baseline · Quality check of the project deliverables · Contribute to requirement reviews with respect to testability · Review project input documents (project test report, process conformance) · Provide a quality verdict of the delivered software; accept/reject deliverables

Execute the alpha test of new software packages · Execute alpha tests · Report issues · Write test reports, submit issue tickets

Process improvement · Suggest process/tooling improvements where necessary · Test automation · Test system maintenance · Make sure the test systems are in a good state and solve issues where needed

Mandatory Skills Description

Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology.
You will do mostly manual testing, but you understand test automation and will be ready to take automation tasks as well.

· You have between +5 years of experience as a Software Tester in a complex software development organization. For this role we are only looking to hire a senior experienced Tester; · You are ISTQB certified (advanced level); · You like to perform manual and automatic testing; · You have strong debugging and analytic skills; you are experienced in defect analysis and bug fixing. . You have a very good knowledge an experience in Python, Selenium and Linux · Experience with CI/CD pipelines, integration of test processes across products, test automation and security testing, · Experience working with Jira, BitBucket, Git, Polarion.
