Position: Software Tester Engineer
Location: Arlington, VA (onsite as needed, need to be local to the DMV)
Overview
- The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct software testing with our external state jurisdiction partners
Testers must have excellent communication skills and a good foundation and knowledge of software testing methodologies, concepts, and how testing tools work. (uses a proprietary testing tool, that we will provide training on).
Testers will execute test plans, verify and document results. They will be expected to acquire working understanding of designated applications through review of technical & business documentation, training sessions and hands-on software testing experience.
Experience should include

5+ years experience in a Quality Assurance software Tester Role performing external testing with external stakeholders…primarily UAT type testing

Experience with manual and automated testing required

Experience testing RESTful web services
-
Ability to analyze and resolve customer issues, conduct defect logging, tracking, and status reporting both internally and externally

Good customer service and excellent communications skills (verbal and written)

Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
