Your work profile
We are looking for an experienced Senior SDET / Senior Automation Test Engineer with 6–10 years of Quality Engineering experience to lead Web and API automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Selenium with Java and API Automation, along with strong technical leadership, framework ownership, mentoring capabilities, and stakeholder management skills. This role requires driving automation excellence while partnering with development teams and clients to deliver high-quality software solutions. Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks for Web and API testing. Develop and review automation scripts using Selenium with Java. Lead API automation initiatives using Karate and ReadyAPI/SoapUI. Define and drive automation strategy across projects to improve quality and automation coverage. Review automation code and enforce coding standards, best practices, and framework guidelines. Mentor and guide junior automation engineers through technical reviews and knowledge sharing. Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and client stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC. Lead automation planning, estimation, execution, and delivery for multiple releases. Drive automation integration with GitHub Actions and Jenkins to support continuous integration. Analyze automation execution results, lead defect triage discussions, and perform root cause analysis. Provide regular automation status, quality metrics, and risk updates to stakeholders. Drive continuous improvements in automation frameworks, processes, and engineering practices. Support browser compatibility testing using SauceLabs and Perfecto. Participate in sprint planning, release planning, technical discussions, and quality reviews.
