Senior SDET / QA Automation Lead
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDET with 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance to lead automation strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in building scalable automation frameworks from the ground up using Selenium Java and will be responsible for end-to-end quality across web, mobile, API, and performance layers.
Key Responsibilities
Framework Architecture Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, BDD/Cucumber, Data-driven) from scratch. UI & API Automation Implement automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver and Core Java; design and execute API test suites using Rest Assured for RESTful/SOAP services. Mobile Testing Develop and maintain mobile automation scripts for iOS and Android using Appium. Performance Engineering Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter or LoadRunner. Backend Validation Write and execute complex SQL queries for data integrity validation. CI/CD Integration Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git) to enable continuous testing. Leadership Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide effort estimations, and mentor junior engineers on automation best practices.
Required Technical Skills
