Full Description

Bachelors degree in Engineering Software Development or a related discipline with 8 to10 years of testing experience

Demonstrable ability to code in one or more object oriented languages including Java

Proficiency in working with SQL databases including advanced queries and stored procedures

Expertise in NET with the ability to demonstrate practical skills

Knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies including Behavior Driven Development BDD regression integration unit contract component end to end and performance testing

Significant experience with popular Java build tools and test frameworks including Selenium as well as experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks

Hands on experience in system design, application development automated testing application logging monitoring and ensuring operational stability

Experience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages

Exposure to agile methodologies such as Scrum CI CD application resiliency and security

Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline eg cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc

Experience with Java 8 Selenium NET and SQL

Exposure to application performance monitoring

Proficiency in SQL databases

Ability to execute standard software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting

Ability to write secure and high quality code using Java with limited guidance

Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures with limited guidance

Experience working within an agile software development scrum team championing and owning the creation of test automation frameworks for critical financial systems

Ability to elicit high quality stable and maintainable test cases from requirements documentation

Ability to design develop code and troubleshoot with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.
