Full Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused QA Tester to ensure software applications meet functional, usability, performance, and quality standards before release. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify, document, and communicate software issues effectively.
Responsibilities
Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality and quality. Review requirements, specifications, and user stories to develop appropriate test scenarios. Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation. Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects. Reproduce reported issues and provide clear steps and supporting information. Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing. Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved. Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other teams to resolve defects. Participate in testing throughout the software development lifecycle. Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing when required. Validate application behavior against business and technical requirements. Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and testing progress. Communicate testing status, risks, and quality concerns to relevant stakeholders. Assist with user acceptance testing and release validation. Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and quality standards. Support continuous improvement of QA practices and documentation.
