Full Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused Software QA Analyst to evaluate software applications and ensure they meet functional, technical, and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of QA methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyze requirements, design effective test scenarios, identify defects, and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify testing needs. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation. Execute manual and automated tests across software applications and environments. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing. Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects. Analyze defects and provide detailed information to support efficient resolution. Retest resolved issues and perform regression testing to ensure changes do not introduce new defects. Validate software functionality against business and technical requirements. Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing when required. Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, test coverage, and QA activities. Monitor testing progress and communicate quality risks, issues, and recommendations. Participate in release validation and deployment readiness activities. Support user acceptance testing and production validation when required. Analyze recurring defects and identify opportunities to improve product quality. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and documentation.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of software quality assurance and testing methodologies. Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience creating and executing comprehensive test cases and test scenarios. Strong defect identification, investigation, and documentation skills. Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools. Understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing. Knowledge of web applications, APIs, databases, and basic SQL is beneficial. Familiarity with automated testing concepts and tools is beneficial. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate technical and business requirements into effective testing strategies. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple testing activities and deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Previous experience in software QA, quality assurance, software testing, QA analysis, or a similar role. Experience analyzing requirements and developing test cases and test scenarios. Hands-on experience with manual software testing. Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms. Experience performing functional and regression testing. Understanding of software development and release processes. Experience working with web or software applications. Strong computer and digital skills. Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality. Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for remote work. Professional, analytical, dependable, and quality-focused attitude. English proficiency is required if the position involves working with English-speaking teams or technical documentation.
