Our cliente is looking for a Software QA Engineer with a strong background in testing on GoLang, Python

Stacks and proficiency in Jira. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality

assurance and software testing, with a deep understanding of the Learning Applications ecosystem (built on REST

and Microservices on GoLang/Python). . You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our

Microservices applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet business

requirements and provide a seamless user experience.

 Test Planning & Execution

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for GoLang/Python

applications.

Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across solutions and custom applications. Ensure that user stories and requirements are properly translated into testable items.

 Defect Tracking & Reporting

Use Jira for defect tracking and management, ensuring defects are properly logged, tracked, and

closed.

Work closely with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues found during testing.

 Automation

Collaborate with the development and QA automation teams to identify opportunities for

automating repetitive test cases.

Maintain and update automated test scripts as needed to align with new features and

enhancements.

 Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and developers to understand business

requirements and ensure that the QA processes align with project timelines.

Provide regular status updates on testing progress and escalate issues when necessary.

 Quality Assurance Strategy

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools. Assist in developing and maintaining testing standards, guidelines, and best practices for the QA

team.

Requirements

 Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on

custom solutions and microservices.

Experience with manual and automated testing tools and techniques.

 Technical Skills

Strong working knowledge of the Golang or Python stacks, including configuration, workflows,

permissions, and user roles.

Proficiency in Jira for defect tracking and project management. Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar tools is a plus.

 Analytical Skills

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 Communication

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
