**Top 3 responsibilities: **

Design/implement automated tests for REST/SOAP APIs, integration processes, and data flows (incl. backend validation)

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining automated tests for Master Data Management solutions, primarily emphasizing SOAP and REST API testing, database testing, and backend processes automation.
Main Responsibilities
Design and implement automated tests for APIs, integration processes, and data flows. Develop and maintain existing test automation frameworks. Create regression tests and integrate them with CI/CD processes. Support the implementation of the "Automation First" approach. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other teams within the organization. Support automation of both new features and existing products. Analyze test results and prepare test evidence. Utilize AI tools to enhance test automation efficiency. Mentor less experienced team members in test automation.
Key Requirements
6+ years of proven experience in automated software testing, preferably in complex enterprise environments. In-depth knowledge of QA methodology, including test planning, design, execution, and regression testing. Hands-on experience in test automation development using Java 17+. Strong practical experience with RESTAssured, JUnit 5, and Lombok. Solid understanding of REST and SOAP principles, with the ability to design comprehensive tests. Good experience in API testing and integration flow validation. Familiarity with test reporting tools, especially Allure. Experience writing SQL queries for database testing. Proficient in using test management tools like qTest and Jira. Strong Git skills, including branching strategies and collaborative practices. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins and/or Bamboo. Excellent communication skills in English. Proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. Ability to mentor less experienced team members.
