Description Exciting opportunity for an Automation Engineer to support a busy site. You will be working with a combination of modern and legacy systems, infrastructure, and services. As part of the site’s effort to deliver new product development you will be involved in planning, design, scheduling and control of Automation projects. If you have an eye for detail and hold yourself to a high standard this role is for you. The customer values an initiative-taking approach and a focus on continuous improvement. Skills & Abilities

PLC Programming experience Commissioning and validation experience Experience in a process engineering role Experience with manufacturing systems Experience with vision equipment desirable e.g., Cognex Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications. Working knowledge of quality systems (FDA/ISO) within a regulated environment. Coordinates assessments in support of determining regulatory compliance and any necessary improvements for regulation conformity. Builds equipment and control systems and helps determine reliability and need for updates. Compiles automation project requirements in support of project resource management and maintenance. Contributes to automation deliverables and ensures adherence to expected deadlines. Analyse changes in scope, including provision of necessary information to support claims for time and cost impact. Excellent communication skills to communicate workflow and project deliverables internally with engineers.
