**Role & seniority: ** Mobile Application Tester / QA (mid–senior, 5+ years experience)

**Stack/tools: ** Android/iOS (Flutter), Appium (mobile automation), API testing Postman, defect tracking Jira/Azure DevOps (or similar), SQL (basic), Agile/STLC testing practices; automated testing frameworks “Appium or equivalent”

**Top 3 responsibilities: **

Analyze user stories/acceptance criteria and derive test scenarios
Execute functional, regression, integration, end-to-end testing for mobile apps across devices/OS versions
Build/maintain automated test scripts and perform API testing, including defect logging and verification (Jira/Azure DevOps)
Must-have skills:
- 5+ years in mobile testing (Android & iOS, Flutter)
- Hands-on Appium (or equivalent) automation experience
- Experience with Postman for API testing
- Knowledge of STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile workflow
- Proficiency with defect/test management tools (Jira/Azure DevOps)
- Basic SQL for backend validation
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with end-to-end release validation/production testing
- Experience working in cross-functional teams in large-scale Microsoft Cloud-related projects
Location & work type: Budapest, Hungary; Hybrid (1–2 office days/week), full-time indefinite contract (40 hrs/week); occasional travel to customer sites in Europe; eligibility to work in Hungary required.

What You Will Do

Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to create effective test scenarios. Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of mobile applications. Validate Android and iOS applications across multiple devices and OS versions. Execute API testing using tools such as Postman. Identify, log, track, and verify defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium or equivalent frameworks. Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives. Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. Support release validation and production testing activities.
