**Top 3 responsibilities: **

  • QMS process management: maintain/control processes & policies (change management, standards compliance), support modeling, drive continuous improvement of QMS tools and product lifecycle quality.

  • Regulatory compliance & CE: support accessories/devices lifecycle, perform conformity assessments/approvals (e.g., CE, KC, NRTL), manage certification process, coordinate with certification bodies/regulatory authorities; incident/corrective actions for poor reliability.

  • Supplier Quality Assurance: qualify/introduction of components & materials, run supplier audits and performance evaluations, drive corrective actions (SCAR), establish supplier quality standards; coordinate with R&S HQ Quality (Munich).

  • Must-have skills:

    • Min. 5 years Quality Management in a larger organization with CE marking experience.

    • Ability to lead and influence stakeholders; structured teamwork + initiative.

    • Fluent Spanish & English (written/spoken).

    • Strong MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) and SAP experience.

Full Description

In the frame of our strongly growing R&S business, the quality function with its different aspects in Quality Management System, Quality Assurance as well as Supplier Quality Assurance is of great importance. For these reasons, an additional Hub with Quality professionals will be built in Spain. The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the hosted quality functions of the organization in Madrid. The leadership role will include appr. 30% of the capacity while 70% capacity will be as individual contributor in one of the focus areas below. The role oversees process management, regulatory compliance for accessories and devices (CE Marking), supplier- and material data mgmt. as well as incident mgmt. with respect to poor supplier performance. Activities are conducted in close cooperation with the R&S HQ Quality function in Munich

Your tasks

Process Management Control of new and existing processes and policies (change management, support for optimizations, transparency) Definition & ensuring compliance with rules and standards Support in process modelling Operational support and continuous improvement of QMS tools (Guideline Portal, document management system), including training Regulatory Compliance & CE Marking Support products throughout the entire product lifecycle Perform conformity assessments and approvals (e.g., CE, KC, NRTL) Monitor product reliability, initiate and track corrective actions Coach and ensure processes for development-related quality management activities Lead the certification process for accessories, ensuring full compliance with relevant EU directives and standards. Act as the primary point of contact for certification bodies and regulatory authorities for the tasks performed in Madrid. Supplier Quality Assurance Conduct qualification and introduction of material for electronic, mechanic and electromechanics components in collaboration with stakeholders Initiate, drive or support measures to improve quality and availability at suppliers Consult development, engineering, projects and production Conduct supplier audits and drive problem solution on and off supplier site Establish and monitor quality standards for external suppliers and partners. Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations to ensure a stable and high-quality supply chain. Manage supplier corrective action requests (SCAR) and drive quality improvements at the source.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering or comparable course of study Min 5 Years in Quality Management in a bigger cooperation with CE marking entities Leadership and ability to communicate and influence different Stakeholders Profound MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and SAP experience Reliable and structured way of working - Ability to work in team, take the initiative and propose solutions Fluent in Spanish and English language (written and spoken) Intercultural experience is beneficial Experience in CE marking requirements in a regulated business field
