Position: QA Engineer (Payments)

Location: Oporto or Lisbon - Hybrid

Job Summary: QA Automation Engineer role focused on the Onboard project within the Monétique payments perimeter, ensuring the quality of web-based payment solutions through automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

Developing data oriented applications; Gathering, documenting, examining and managing data application requirements in an Agile-Scrum development team; Translate application story boards and use cases into functional applications; Deliver high quality solutions through innovative design aligned with good testing practices; Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented features; Support the software development for a range of initiatives; Cooperating with the developers in the process of testing the RESTful API and Agular web pages; Communicating with external web services.

Requirements

Solid understanding of automated testing; In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment); Good knowledge of Selenium or Cypress practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience; Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed; Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback; Good knowledge of Rest services (Micro Service); Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
