Our client National Bank of Pakistan is looking for a Wing Head - SBP Validation and Internal Audit Reports Compliance (VP) in Karachi

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position

Position / Job Title

Wing Head - SBP Validation and Internal Audit Reports Compliance (VP)

Reporting to

Divisional Head Management, Operations Audit & Regulatory Coordination

Educational /Professional Qualification

Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college /

institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan

Candidate having Masters degree and / or any other relevant professional qualification or

certifications such as ACA / ACCA / CFA / CIA etc. in the respective field will be preferred

Experience

Minimum 08 years of Banking experience, in Branch Audit and / or Management Audit and

/ or Operations Audits and / or Business and Assets Risk Review

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required

Well conversant with internal audit practices and relevant regulatory guidelines Good understanding of business communication, presentation and analytical skills Ability to work under timelines and pressure situations Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and Visio, SAP and Core Banking Application Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment with consistent and quality

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

To coordinate with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) inspections for the Audit & Inspection

Group (A&IG)

To manage responses to SBP observations and ensure timely submission To review and validate SBP observations, including para-wise and significant issues To coordinate with A&IG Divisional Heads to ensure timely validation To finalize monthly SBP observation reporting with the Compliance Group for Chief

Internal Auditor sign-off

To submit consolidated quarterly status updates to the Compliance Group To coordinate A&IG deliverables and reports with external auditors To act as focal person for liaison with law enforcement agencies To coordinate validation and closure of regulatory findings To coordinate with auditee management for fortnightly follow-up on CAP implementation To review and validate compliance for Design Effectiveness (DE) and Operating

Effectiveness (OE) in line with the Internal Audit Manual

To submit consolidated quarterly compliance status updates to the Program Director /

Group Chief A&IG and the Board Audit Committee (BAC)

To prepare status updates and presentations on regulatory matters for senior

management and BAC

To coordinate regulatory and operational verifications relating to the Banks operations,

including government and regulatory schemes/programs

To ensure safe custody and maintenance of records To coordinate validation of complied SBP observations, update the SBP validation system,

and communicate remarks to process owners

To review and update the Risk Register and issue-related MIS monthly for management

review and follow-up

To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed ondiscretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensationpackage and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
