Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a QA Tester / Automation Engineer. The role involves planning, designing, and executing test cases for e-commerce platforms and related integrations, ensuring that new features and releases meet quality standards. The QA professional will perform manual testing of web and mobile flows, validate bug fixes, and document defects clearly for the development team. Depending on experience, the role may include creating and maintaining basic automated test scripts, contributing to regression test suites, and helping refine QA processes and documentation. Collaboration with developers, product owners, and support teams is expected to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and support continuous improvement of product quality. Qualifications Strong foundation in Quality Assurance with hands-on Manual Testing experience. Ability to design, document, and execute clear and reproducible Test Cases. Well-developed Analytical Skills to identify defects, edge cases, and potential risks. Experience with Test Execution across different browsers, devices, and environments. Familiarity with e-commerce flows (catalog, cart, checkout, payments, and order tracking) is beneficial. Knowledge of basic test automation concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a plus. Comfort using issue-tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or comparable platforms). Clear written and verbal communication skills in en_US and ability to document findings concisely. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote, part-time setting. Relevant coursework, certifications, or prior experience in software testing or engineering are advantageous.
