Prime Frontier Group is a multi-domain organization operating across energy, minerals, renewables, procurement, sustainability, and technology. Our engineering team builds and maintains a portfolio of proprietary products spanning these domains, supported by cross-functional teams in frontend, backend, data science, data analysis, design, QA, and project management, alongside IT administration, DevOps, and internal communications.

The Role We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our proprietary products across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and data teams to design and execute test strategies across our energy, minerals, renewables, procurement, sustainability, and technology platforms.

This role is for someone comfortable managing quality assurance across a diverse and evolving product portfolio, adapting testing approaches to different platforms, technologies, and business domains.

What You'll Do ▪️ Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases across web, desktop, and mobile applications ▪️ Own end-to-end QA processes for multiple proprietary products simultaneously, prioritizing based on release schedules and business impact ▪️ Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to translate requirements into comprehensive test plans ▪️ Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, usability, and cross-platform/cross-browser testing ▪️ Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, working with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution ▪️ Build and maintain automated test suites and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage ▪️ Conduct API testing and validate data integrity across integrated systems ▪️ Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous QA process improvement ▪️ Develop and maintain QA documentation — test plans, test cases, test reports ▪️ Support release management by validating builds and signing off on release readiness ▪️ Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines ▪️ Stay current with QA best practices, tools, and emerging technologies

What You'll Need ▪️ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) ▪️ 3+ years of experience in software QA/testing, with demonstrated experience testing web, desktop, and mobile applications ▪️ Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (manual and automated) ▪️ Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) ▪️ Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) ▪️ Familiarity with bug-tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps) ▪️ Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing ▪️ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments ▪️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail ▪️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work across distributed, cross-functional teams

Nice to Have ▪️ Experience testing products in energy, minerals, renewables, procurement, or sustainability sectors ▪️ Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) ▪️ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines) ▪️ Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) ▪️ Basic scripting/programming skills (Python, JavaScript, Java) to support test automation ▪️ Experience testing data-intensive or analytics-driven products

What We Offer ▪️ Opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of proprietary products and industries ▪️ Collaborative, cross-functional team spanning engineering, data science, design, and product ▪️ Exposure to modern QA tools, automation frameworks, and CI/CD practices ▪️ Career growth opportunities within a multi-domain organization
