About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join BlackRock’s dynamic technology team. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of all product requirements and specifications. Design, create, and execute both automated and manual test scripts to meet quality objectives and improve testing efficiency. Prepare and manage traceability matrices to verify that all requirements are adequately tested and fulfilled. Generate detailed testing reports, document defects, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Monitor software changes, updates, and releases, adjusting test cases and plans accordingly to adapt to evolving product features. Maintain a comprehensive defect database, track defect resolution progress, and ensure timely closure of issues. Collaborate with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Participate in review meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to integrate quality assurance into agile workflows.
