Software Quality Tester (QA)

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Software Quality Tester (QA) to join our software development team and ensure that our applications meet high standards of quality, reliability, security, performance and user experience. Job Responsibilities Analyze software requirements, business requirements, user stories and functional specifications. Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test data. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability and compatibility testing. Test web-based and mobile applications across different browsers, operating systems and devices. Identify, document and track software bugs with clear steps to reproduce. Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing before releases. Test complete business workflows from login to transaction/report completion. Test different user roles, permissions, approval workflows and access controls. Validate dashboards, reports, notifications, emails, data exports and integrations. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman. Perform basic database testing and data validation using SQL. Work closely with developers, project managers and business teams to resolve defects. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation. Perform production verification after deployment. Identify potential risks and quality issues before software reaches customers. Maintain QA documentation, test results and release checklists. Suggest improvements to product usability and overall user experience. Continuously improve testing methodologies and QA processes. Key Areas You May Work On

• Strong understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Good understanding of functional and non-functional testing.
• Ability to create structured test cases and test scenarios.
• Experience with bug/issue tracking systems such as Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with API testing and Postman.
• Knowledge of browser Developer Tools.
• Good understanding of web application architecture and common web issues.
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify missing or ambiguous requirements.

• Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant QA/testing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a development team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and testing tools.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Ability to work under deadlines and support product release schedules.
