This includes identifying and investigating defects, producing clear, actionable bug reports, maintaining test plans, and helping the team understand release risks and priorities. As part of a small, collaborative development team, you will work closely with developers and designers to identify issues early, validate fixes, investigate player-reported problems, and contribute to improvements in gameplay, performance, usability, and overall game quality.

Duties Create and maintain feature test plans, assess feature health, and investigate high-risk issues to support release quality and prioritisation. Define and execute test strategies for frequent feature releases, ensuring appropriate coverage across gameplay, platform, monetisation, live-service, and core user workflows. Manage and prioritise the Jira bug database, supporting clear triage, visibility, and communication across the team. Collaborate closely with developers and designers to identify risks early, prevent defects, and improve feature quality before release. Triage user-reported issues via Discord, identifying root causes and producing accurate bug reports for timely resolution in future builds. Validate complex platform-specific features including cloud saves, cross-device synchronisation, corrupted save recovery, in-app purchases, and subscription flows. Monitor post-release quality metrics, including crash trends, user feedback, retention, and store ratings, to inform fixes and feature improvements.
