Top 3 responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute manual, exploratory, regression, endurance, and automated software tests across vehicle and bench environments
2. Create/maintain test cases with requirement traceability; perform defect identification, analysis, verification, and tracking with supporting logs/data
3. Analyze results using PC-based tools; collaborate with other test teams to improve testing strategy and troubleshoot issues
Must-have skills:
- 5+ years software testing; 2+ years technical testing for 3GPP UE or similar
- Embedded/automotive/infotainment understanding; software/hardware architecture knowledge
- Cellular + wireless technology knowledge (4G/5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSxPA, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth)
- Defect management and testing tool familiarity; vehicle diagnostics & communication protocols
- ISTQB certification; knowledge of ASPICE and V-Model

We are looking for

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to join a team developing and testing embedded automotive and infotainment systems. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing manual and automated testing, analyzing software defects, and ensuring high-quality products across vehicle and bench environments.

What you will do

Planning and executing structured, exploratory, regression, endurance, and automated software testing. Reviewing requirements, creating and maintaining test cases, and ensuring traceability throughout software evolution. Identifying, analyzing, verifying, and tracking software defects with detailed logs and supporting data. Performing both vehicle and bench testing, including internal and customer test drives. Analyzing test data using PC-based tools and test instrumentation. Collaborating with different test teams to improve testing strategies and methodologies. Supporting customer and internal technical workshops and troubleshooting activities. Conducting retrospectives and contributing to continuous improvements in testing processes.

What you need to have

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of software testing experience. 2+ years of technical testing experience with 3GPP user equipment or similar technologies. Good understanding of embedded systems, automotive products, and infotainment systems. Understanding of software and hardware architectures and automotive telematics domains. Knowledge of cellular technologies such as 4G/5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSxPA, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Experience with system testing methods, defect management, and testing tools. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and database tools. Understanding of vehicle diagnostics and communication protocols. Knowledge of V-Model software development processes. ISTQB certification and knowledge of ASPICE. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
