🌟 We're Hiring: Software Quality Engineer! 🌟 We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality products.   • Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business owner and business consultant to define clear and actionable user story acceptance criteria;

  • Work with Backend Engineers to ensure automated test coverage and prevent bugs and defects in production;

  • Analyse and decompose complex software systems to design holistic, risk-based test strategies;

  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools

  • Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test suites covering functional,regression, exploratory, and performance testing;

  • Take a risk-based approach to test automation, prioritizing critical functionality for maximum impact;

  • Perform time-boxed exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues;

  • Maintain a stable regression test suite integrated into QA nightly builds;

  • Continuously refine smoke tests in the Development CI environment for early issue detection;

  • Lead system integration testing with other system owners to validate cross- system interactions;

  • Oversee UAT, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met;

  • Manage the defect lifecycle, test artifacts, and test repositories to ensure clear tracking and reporting;

  • Drive continuous improvement in agile testing practices, tools, and methodologies;

  • Take on a secondary role as an Application Performance Engineer or Application Security Engineer to expand testing coverage beyond functional aspects;

  • Assist in product development where relevant; and

  • Design agentic AI evaluation testing to cover output accuracy and agent-level behaviour

Required Experience & Skills Mandatory – Core Testing Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of test automation strategies and risk-based testing.

  • Experience designing and executing test cases, test plans, and test suites.

  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API services.

  • Familiarity with cross-browser, cross-platform and responsive UI testing.

  • Experience defining and executing structured evaluation criteria for agentic AI systems.

  • Mandatory – Test Automation & CI/CD Integration

  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.

  • Knowledge of test scripting and automation programming using Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.

  • Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bamboo).

  • Ability to design maintainable, scalable, and reusable test automation suites.

  • Mandatory – Agile & DevOps Testing Practices

  • Strong understanding of agile testing methodologies, including TDD, BDD, and exploratory testing.

  • Experience working in agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban, XP).

  • Familiarity with shift-left testing approaches, ensuring early defect detection.

  • Experience with containerised testing in Docker/Kubernetes environments.

  • Mandatory – Test Management & Certifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

  • Experience managing defect tracking and test repositories using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Micro Focus ALM (QC/Sprinter).

  • Certified Software Testing Professional (CSTP) and/or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) is an advantage.

  • Legal regulatory domain familiarity: Working knowledge on legal, enforcement or insolvency workflows to understand user journeys and engage credibly with MED and DRS stakeholders.

  • GCC test environment constraints.

  • Prior experience testing applications on OutSystems platform.
